Pamukkale University (PAU)

Pamukkale University (PAU), founded in 1992, is a state university which has 16 faculties, 6 institutes, 3 higher education schools, 17 vocational higher education schools, 43 research centers and 3 research laboratories. PAU has approximately 50000 students and 3599 employees, 2176 of whom are academics. The university gives great importance to international partnerships and has signed bilateral/general agreements with Europe's and world's leading universities. The implementation team has been specifically active in Erasmus+ KA2 projects involving implementation for learning through computer games. The applications target the needs of diverse user groups ranging from primary and preschool education to secondary, higher, professional, and vocational education. In addition, members of the implementation team have many years of experience and teaching activity in the fields of computer, natural/applied sciences and engineering education (in other words, STEM education). PAU follows a project-based approach to operational management relying on distinct roles and responsibilities and high transparency, following total quality management principles. Aspects of the project management methodologies adopted by PAU for the internal management of its projects originate from tested, matured concepts elaborated in standard/hybrid project management methodologies, practiced on project-basis.
